车队继续出发了，连续两天无风无浪的行程后，最终在第三天清晨抵达了密苏里州圣路易斯。
众人看着与灾变前几乎无二的城市，都有些失神了。
“黎明哥，这里面有没有机场啊，我们是不是能回国了啊？”代兰亭跑到驾驶询问着同样一脸好奇的澹台黎明。
“不知道呢，我们先进去看看吧，回去肯定要回去的。”澹台黎明似是自言自语。
车队来到城下，厚实的铁铸城墙安全感十足，城门口有守卫的士兵。
“sir, please get off the car for inspection（先生，请下车接受检查）”门口的守卫拦着了车队。
澹台黎明停下车带着众人来到守卫面前。
“please follow me（请跟我来）”守卫发话，随即带着众人来到旁边一个临时医疗检查站。
“please cooperate with the doctor to draw blood after the blood is drawn, wait for 30 minutes if there are no abnormalities, you can enter the city（请大家配合医生抽血，抽血后等待30分钟，没有异常就可以进城）”守卫指挥着众人检查，包括小双。
大约四十分钟后，众人的检查结果没有问题，医生给每人发了一个带有姓名的条码牌。
澹台黎明招呼大家上车，随后来到守卫面前，递过去一包软华。
“oh（喔）”守卫很惊喜：“my chinese friend, can i help you with anything（我的中国朋友，有什么需要我帮助的吗）”
“thank you sir, is st louis airport open to air？（谢谢先去，请问圣路易斯机场通航了没）”
“i&39;m sorry sir, currently all airports in the united states are not open if you want to return to china, you may need to go to san francisco mr mayor said that san francisco has cruise ships to asia（很抱歉先生，现在全美国的机场都没有通航，如果你们想回中国，可能需要前往旧金山，市长先生说旧金山有通往亚洲的游轮）”
“is the shelter in st louis open to everyone？（那圣路易斯里的避难所对所有人开放吗）”澹台黎明继续问道。
“of course, but residents who stay in the city need to pay corresponding rewards, such as labor, intelligence, and materials（当然，但是留在城里的居民需要付出相应的报酬，比如劳动、智慧以及物资）”守卫回答。
“thank you！（谢谢你）”说罢澹台黎明再次递上一包软华。
“god bless you, sir（上帝保佑你，先生）”士兵再次惊喜，随后给了澹台黎明一句忠告：“however, sir, san francisco is over 3000 kilometers away from here, and there are many women in your car i&39;m not sure if all of you can safely reach san francisco（但是，先生，旧金山距离这里有三千多公里，而且你们车上女士很多，我不确定你们所有人都能安全到达旧金山。）”
守卫继续说道：“for the sake of cigarettes, if you really want to go to san francisco, then rest in big cities such as kansas, denver, salt lake city, and sparks i heard that these places are also building shelters（看在香烟的份上，如果你真要去旧金山，那就在大城市休整吧，比如堪萨斯、丹佛、盐湖城、斯帕克斯，听说这些地方也在建立避难所。）”
澹台黎明听罢感激道：“thank you very much good luck, sir（非常感谢，祝你好运先生）”
“you too（你也是）”守卫放开车队进入圣路易斯。
车队进入圣路易斯城内，澹台黎明找到一处停车场将车停下，随后召集所有人：
